Seven days a week, the Sardinian master chef immerses Parisian foodies in his beloved Italy at his beautiful corner bistro Racines. The place is bursting with charm: old tiles, spotted mirrors, vintage furniture and a secret dining room on the second floor. Anyone who walks through the door here immediately feels the touch of la dolce vita. For starters, Simone whips up classics like vitello tonnato, burrata from Puglia with eggplant, or a delicious finocchiona (a salami spiced up with fennel seeds). All non-vegetarians should definitely try the legendary tagliatelle with beef cheek ragu, capers and parmesan for the main course. Those who want a special table should reserve the seat on the second floor or in the covered passageway.
