Root Hotel Karaköy Bosphorus

The Root Karaköy Hotel is situated right in the part of Istanbul where the city is constantly on the move. Ferries set sail from the Bosphorus, people wander through Karaköy, and small cafés alternate with galleries and old shops. This makes the feeling all the more surprising when you step through the door. The hotel feels significantly quieter than the surroundings outside. The lounge area is particularly lovely, functioning almost as the very heart of the hotel. Tall windows let plenty of light into the room; plants stand between armchairs and sofas; patterned fabrics meet darker materials; art on the walls and warm lamps create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home.
