The menu is changed monthly in the Taverna Kus in order to transform every ingredient used into aromatic dishes at the most suitable moment. In April the focus is on asparagus dishes, in July garden vegetables followed by pumpkin and chestnuts in November. The Taverna Kus is thus kept trendy by Giancarlo Zanolli. He uses fresh ingredients from the region and traditional dishes instead of pretentious dishes. Taverna Kus is situated on a slope high above the lake, surrounded by Monte Baldo. The predominantly rustic interior is broken throughout by small details and designer lamps. Old mirrors and pictures hang on the unplastered stone walls. In the colourful room there are tables of normal size as well as a blackboard with space for 24 persons. Up to 250 different types of wine are available from stock. The view into the wine cellar is therefore worthwhile twice and three times. One also sits in the best way on the terrace or in the garden under olive trees. The view from there to the lake is picturesque. The chirping birds, the bicycle leaning against the wall, an old cart with wooden wheels and the flower meadows romping around the tavern are reminiscent of a film set.
