In 2014 gourmet Rolf Gibbs discovered his love for the mood-enhancing Superfood. Out of a personal passion, he spent nights experimenting in his kitchen with raw cocoa beans, coconut milk and coconut sugar in search of the unique creamy recipe. That was the birth of the Balinese chocolate brand Ubud Raw with the sympathetic turquoise blue logo and the golden flower of life. The square chocolate pieces, which are stirred daily by hand in the small shop production from raw chocolate, fresh coconut milk and coconut blossom sugar, are available in pure, goji berry mint and cashew nut raisin flavours. They are sold in the shop and in many healthy cafés and stores on the island.
