Situated slightly south of the old part of town in a quiet area called Quartier des Baumettes, the museum of fine art is housed in the former private domicile of the Russian princess Kotschubey. The belle-epoque villa from 1925, with its wonderful garden, is just as well worth seeing as the carefully chosen collection of paintings from the 17th, 18th and 19th century from artists such as Fragonard, Degas, Boudin as well as sculptures from Sisley.
