Hip youngsters and older neighbours alike are equally satisfied by options like the addictive Valrhona pain au chocolat, the mouth-watering brioche, or creative sandwiches like beetroot and goats cheese, kale and cabbage, or ham and gruyere, and one is ever pleasantly reminded of the traditional bakery which previously occupied the site for many years. Today’s guests however also flock here for the legendary sourdough bread, without exaggeration the best in the city. Loaves come fresh from the oven from Wednesdays through Sunday afternoon.
